DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Full-stack Developer at PYCO, you’ll build advanced web applications that serve millions of users for large global brands, using the latest Javascript and Java technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES​

  • This highly specialized role plays dual responsibilities at PYCO, capable of developing both the back-end services and functionality of web applications as well as the front-end presentation
  • Working as a senior-level software developer on enterprise web application projects in Java using modern frameworks
  • Developing the front-end for websites using HTML5 technologies and integrating them with back-end services
  • Ensuring that the final output is a highly interactive and attractive interface that meets or exceeds functional and creative quality standards

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Java, Javascript, and web development
  • Experience in Java and modern frameworks and architectures e.g. Spring Boot, microservices
  • Strong experience using recent front-end frameworks, e.g. Angular.js and React.js
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j is highly preferred
  • Previous working experience with AWS, Docker is a BIG plus
  • Experience with server-side Javascript (e.g. Node.js) is also a BIG plus
  • Comfortable working with development tools such as Git, Stash, and Bamboo
  • Strong team and communication skills a mus
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to think out-of-the box
